Process
Preliminary sketches. I found that I wanted to focus on the contour of the neck in relation to the body. It has good movement and balance and there is something beautiful about it's simplicity.
Color Pallet. I was inspired by Nova Scotia's Seafood industry website. The colors I chose are also similar to actual pelicans.
